We designed these packages specifically for Louisiana engineers looking to satisfy all of the Professional Development Hours (PDH) required by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. Louisiana professional engineers must earn 15 PDH per calendar year, including at least 1 PDH in professional ethics each calendar year. Engineers who design buildings or building systems, or review or approve plans for buildings or building systems in Louisiana, must also earn at least 4 PDH per calendar year in Life Safety Code, building codes, and/or ADA Accessibility Guidelines.
Each of our Louisiana Engineering packages contains two 15-PDH recommended completion plans, one for Year 1 and one for Year 2. Important Louisiana Completion Note
Louisiana requires professional engineers to complete 15 PDH each calendar year, including at least 1 PDH in professional ethics each calendar year. Each Louisiana package is organized into a recommended Year 1 and Year 2 completion plan to help engineers satisfy these annual requirements. Engineers should complete the Year 1 courses during the first calendar year and the Year 2 courses during the second calendar year.
