This package was designed specifically for Delaware civil engineers looking to satisfy all of the Professional Development Hours (PDH) required by the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers. Delaware engineers must obtain 24 hours of continuing education during each biennial renewal period. Of the 24 PDH, no less than 2 PDH and no more than 6 PDH must be related to professional engineering ethics. The balance must be related to the licensee’s area of technical practice.

CE-02-108 Pavement Design for Roads, Streets, Walks, and Open Storage Areas – 7 PDH
This online course provide a brief description of the basic mechanism of each common problem, a description of the typical symptoms that would be observed during a visual inspection, and suggests preventative methods or techniques to prevent further damage.
CE-02-601 An Integrated Framework to Restore Small Urban Watersheds – 5 PDH
This course introduces the basic concepts and techniques of urban watershed restoration, and sets forth the overall framework we use to evaluate subwatershed restoration potential. It presents the basic concepts used to restore urban streams, and outlines an integrated and practical framework for assessing restoration potential in small urban watersheds.
CE-02-205 Impacts of Animals on Earthen Dams – 10 PDH
This course introduces the basic principles of identifying problems in existing earthen dams caused by animal activity. It reviews 23 nuisance species and highlights activity that can potentially damage earthen dams beyond repair, emphasizing the concept that delayed control and repair of animal activity usually results in increased total costs of repair.
