The Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors regulates continuing education for engineers in Alaska. Currently engineers must complete a total of 24 Professional Development Hours biennially to renew a PE license in the state of Alaska. Engineers are allowed to carry over 12 development hours to the next term. All engineering licenses are renewed on December 31st in odd numbered years.
